Acorn Squash

Acorn Squash, also called pepper squash or Des Moines squash, is a winter squash with distinctive longitudinal ridges and sweet, yellow-orange flesh. The most common acorn squash have a dark green, almost black skin, but can also be found in white or orange, or speckled with all three colors.
